To say we are delighted to announce our first GK camp in the USA is an understatement. The camp will focus exclusively on goalkeeping and will be hosted on Monmouth University’s new water-based turf, where World Class GK coaches will be providing cutting edge GK instruction.
We are also very excited to announce for the first time this summer, David Harte, a two-time FIH GK of the Year, Kampong Hockey Club GK and Irish Men’s National Team GK, will be joining David Williamson (USA Women’s National Team Assistant Coach) as a Head Clinician on the SOS coaching staff.
David Harte isn’t the only Olympian and World star on staff, he’s joined by..
Jackie Briggs, former US Women’s National Team GK, Two-Time NCAA National Champion GK with the University of North Carolina (UNC), and current assistant coach at UNC.
Alesha Widdall, former US Women’s National Team GK and University of Massachusetts GK, and current assistant coach at Cornell University.
Please check out David Harte’s Wiki Jackie‘s Wiki & Alesha’s Wiki for a list of awards and accolades that are too numerous to list here!
At the SOS Elite GK Camp, you can expect pure GK training (trust us, no field players will get in the way!) and it will also include:
Fun and dynamic learning evironment
Small group training to ensure quality exposure to both the coaching and the ball
Training sessions to focus on building and strengthening foundational skills
Instruction on the latest developments in GK technique and training
All skills will be demonstrated by our staff in pads
